Assets

Find and reuse workspace images, videos, fonts, and documents.

Open Library, then Assets in your workspace. The asset library keeps files together so you can find them again and use them in your work.

Find an asset

Browse the library's categories to narrow the files shown. Categories include images, videos, fonts, and documents.

  • Images include visual files you can reuse on your pages.
  • Videos help you find video files separately from still images.
  • Fonts help you find typefaces for site work.
  • Documents help you find reference material and other document files.

Open an asset's preview and check its name and type before reusing it. Do not rely on a thumbnail alone to identify a file.

Upload a file

  1. Open Library, then Assets.
  2. Choose Upload and select a supported file.

    Supported files:

    • Images: JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, SVG, and ICO. Animated GIFs keep playing.
    • Videos: MP4, WebM, MOV, AVI, MKV, and OGG.
    • Fonts: WOFF, WOFF2, TTF, and OTF.
    • Documents: PDF.

Raster images, including GIFs, must be under 50 MB. Other files can be up to 100 MB.

  3. Wait for the upload to finish.
  4. Find the file in Assets and open its preview.
  5. Check the file's name and type to confirm you uploaded the intended file.

Follow any file requirements or error messages shown by the upload dialog. If the upload does not complete, do not assume the file is available in the library.

Share an asset with a teammate

  1. Open Library, then Assets, and open the asset.
  2. Select Copy link beside Details.
  3. Check that the control changes to Copied.

The link opens that asset inside the workspace for someone who has access. It is not a public file link.

Reuse an asset in your work

Tell Ploy which asset you want to use and where it belongs. For example, ask it to use a named image in a page's hero or a named video in a product section. Review the resulting page before publishing.

Keep reference files distinct from files you intend to place on a public page. Be explicit about which files Ploy should use.
